Our doors open at 6 PM, with our full bar and kitchen in an intimate, speakeasy-inspired venue. Settle in with a drink and a bite, and get ready to laugh! The show begins at 7 PM, featuring comics Khadijah Cooper, Shawn Nafstad & Kathleen O'Brien.
Khadijah Cooper grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis as an only child. Working as the Education Director of a local non-profit focusing on adolescent sexual health, her confidence in public speaking coupled with her quick wit gave her the fuel she needed to burst onto the comedy scene in February 2018; making her name known. In March 2019 Khadijah was in the top 5 for the Best comedian for the City Pages Best of the Twin Cities. In 2021 Khadijah was named one of 5 comedians to watch! In 2023 Khadijah was accepted into Limestone Comedy Festival, Big Pine Comedy Festival, 10k Laughs ComedyFestival, & B4U Die Comedy Festival! Her point of view in her stand up as a mother, an Education Director and someone that has confidence and comfort in her skin makes her irresistible to laugh with and relate to!
Shawn Nafstad is a local Minneapolis comic who has worked with several national touring headliners at clubs throughout the Twin Cities. He talks about life and reflecting on growing up in the strange modern world.
Kathleen Q. O'Brien is a comic currently based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She started doing stand-up in New York City, where she attended NYU Tisch for theater. Upon graduating with Honors, she hosted a comedy open mic, entitled “Unmemorable Tuesdays,” as well as a show dubbed “Damaged Goods,” both at the famed Eastville Comedy Club. She has been featured in an Amazon Audible Book focusing on the best stand-up of 2015. Her act is silly and honest and she draws from her extensive history in the theater when she performs.
Cover is $10 per person and will be added to your bill. We do not take reservations. Walk-ins are welcome and we encourage you to arrive before showtime to find a seat. The Mudd Room is 21+ only.
