Shyloh Blake is a Minneapolis-based stand-up comedian who turns life’s awkward moments into laugh-out-loud comedy gold. With a sharp wit and warm delivery, she transforms cringeworthy moments into hilarious experiences. Shyloh was crowned the 2025 Second Funniest Person in Saint Paul, and she doesn’t even live there. She has opened for nationally touring comedians Jackie Fabulous and Samuel J. Comroe, and was featured in the “Next Up On Stage” series on MNComedy.com, which stated, “Her quick wit and warm delivery made Blake an instant hit.” Shyloh performed in the 2025 10,000 Laughs Festival, the 2024 Minnesota Fringe Festival, the 2023 10,000 Laughs Festival, the 2023 Sno Jam Comedy Festival, and was a finalist in the 2022 “Funniest Person With a Day Job” contest at Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy at the Mall of America. She’s also been interviewed by MPR News with Angela Davis, Twin Cities Live, KFAI Radio, and Voyage Minnesota magazine. Locally, she hosted the long-running “Stand-Up Saloon” at The Saloon in Minneapolis, and regularly performs at Laugh Camp Comedy Club, Sisyphus Brewing, and Comedy Corner Underground in the Twin Cities.

Jason Schommer is a stand up comedian and storyteller who spent two years as the opening act for comedy icon Louie Anderson in Las Vegas and toured with Louie regularly. As a stand up comic, Jason has performed all over the USA as well as Canada and for the US Military in Japan. Jason's sharp wit and spur of the moment playfulness keeps the audience on the edge of their seat with crazy and absurd "is-this-really-happening" stories to jokes with unexpected twists and turns and off-the-cuff riffs.

Jodie Maruska may have grown up in Minnesota, but using the restroom at Cabella’s is as close to camping as she gets! After being asked for her autograph the first night she performed standup, she knew she had found her calling.

Khadijah Cooper grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis as an only child. Working as the Education Director of a local non-profit focusing on adolescent sexual health, her confidence in public speaking coupled with her quick wit gave her the fuel she needed to burst onto the comedy scene in February 2018; making her name known. In March 2019 Khadijah was in the top 5 for the Best comedian for the City Pages Best of the Twin Cities. In 2021 Khadijah was named one of 5 comedians to watch! In 2023 Khadijah was accepted into Limestone Comedy Festival, Big Pine Comedy Festival, 10k Laughs ComedyFestival, & B4U Die Comedy Festival! Her point of view in her stand up as a mother, an Education Director and someone that has confidence and comfort in her skin makes her irresistible to laugh with and relate to!

Shawn Nafstad is a local Minneapolis comic who has worked with several national touring headliners at clubs throughout the Twin Cities. He talks about life and reflecting on growing up in the strange modern world.

Kathleen Q. O'Brien is a comic currently based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She started doing stand-up in New York City, where she attended NYU Tisch for theater. Upon graduating with Honors, she hosted a comedy open mic, entitled “Unmemorable Tuesdays,” as well as a show dubbed “Damaged Goods,” both at the famed Eastville Comedy Club. She has been featured in an Amazon Audible Book focusing on the best stand-up of 2015. Her act is silly and honest and she draws from her extensive history in the theater when she performs.

Andy Duong is a Minneapolis based comic and is a paid regular at Acme Comedy Company. He was the winner of the “Funniest Person in the Twin Cities” contest and was named as a “Twin Cities Comic to Watch” by Racket Minnesota. He has opened for names such as Joe List, Chad Daniels, Beth Stelling, Ian Bagg, Aaron Chen, plus others. Andy has been performing standup in the Twin Cities since 2021 and has performed at venues all around Minnesota as well as other parts of the Midwest and West Coast.

From Minneapolis, Minnesota, comic and writer Brandi Brown is currently the co-host of the podcast "Bill Corbett's Funhouse." Brandi regularly hosts at Minneapolis' Acme Comedy Company. She has toured with Jim Norton and opened for comics including: Maria Bamford, Joe Mande, Vanessa Bayer, Hannibal Buress and Michael Che. Brandi was a moderator on James Adomian and Anthony Atamanuik's "Trump vs Bernie" tour. She's appeared on American Public Media/Minnesota Public Radio shows including: Open Mike Eagle's "Secret Skin" and Brains On! children's show "Smash Boom Best," where she was a writer and panelist. Unrelated to comedy, Brandi placed sixth out of 22 people in the 2018 Minnesota State Fair's novice Crop Art Contest. Her picture of a panda wearing opera glasses was made entirely out of seeds and netted her a $3 prize. She tweets (too much) at @itsthebrandi.

She has been featured in the Star Tribune and the Washington Post’s The Lily and was named one of Racket MN’s Comics to Watch 2023.

Growing up in rural Wisconsin during the week and Minneapolis on the weekend, allowed Sarah the perspective that people lived life very differently from one another. This city mouse, country mouse existence provided a unique lens for commentary and it brought out the natural storyteller in Sarah. A ten-year stint as a blackjack dealer gave Sarah a captive audience to hone her comedy chops. One day she looked at the smoke-filled walls and noisy slot machines and said goodbye. She turned in her apron and decided to bet on herself and become a comedian. At the same time, she decided to pursue this dream she also decided to pursue her dream of being a lesbian. Go for broke, as they say.

Ethan Pedersen is a Minneapolis based standup comedian. He was the winner of the Funniest Person with a Day Job contest at Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy in 2024. He’s also had several finals appearances in comedy competitions including Fargo’s Funniest Person contest, the Funniest Person Contest at Acme Comedy Club in Minneapolis, and the Funniest Person in Minneapolis contest at Sisyphus Brewing. He's also a regular at venues across Minneapolis including Sisyphus and The Comedy Corner Underground and The House of Comedy, all known for having nationally touring headliners. Along with being a featured stand-up in Minneapolis' MN Comedy blog. He’s currently working at clubs and bars across the midwest delivering sharp, witty comedy, with a twist of silliness and always with a clever, midwest sensibility.

His comedy can be heard on SiriusXM. In 2024 he placed 4th in the Seattle International Comedy Competition.

Justice began her stand up career in 2010. That same year she was a semi-finalist in Acme’s Funniest Person in the Twin Cities contest as well as a semi-finalist in The House of Comedy’s Funniest Person with a Day Job Competition. Her comedy covers a wide spectrum ranging from the self-deprecating to sometimes a darker, more challenging perspective. Inherently charming, she is able to deliver both with a subtle confidence that draws the audience in. She has opened for Norm McDonald and in 2014 was a finalist in The Best Comedian Ever contest at The Joke Joint. In 2015 she was asked to perform at The Akumal Comedy Festival in Mexico. It’s clear momentum is on her side.

Elise Cole is an Iranian-Jewish comedian from Minnesota, and 2018-2019 co-producer of the Minneapolis based showcase, People Of Comedy. She was a 2019 semifinalist in Rick Bronson's House of Comedy contest, and opened for NPR's Ophira Eisenberg at the 10th Annual Twin Cities Jewish Humor Festival. Elise is a wife, mother, waitress, grad student, and published writer who finds humor in the challenges she faces in her day-to-day life.

Kathleen Q. O'Brien is a comic currently based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She started doing stand-up in New York City, where she attended NYU Tisch for theater. Upon graduating with Honors, she hosted a comedy open mic, entitled “Unmemorable Tuesdays,” as well as a show dubbed “Damaged Goods,” both at the famed Eastville Comedy Club. She has been featured in an Amazon Audible Book focusing on the best stand-up of 2015. Her act is silly and honest and she draws from her extensive history in the theater when she performs.

Elise Cole is an Iranian-Jewish comedian from Minnesota, and 2018-2019 co-producer of the Minneapolis based showcase, People Of Comedy. She was a 2019 semifinalist in Rick Bronson's House of Comedy contest, and opened for NPR's Ophira Eisenberg at the 10th Annual Twin Cities Jewish Humor Festival. Elise is a wife, mother, waitress, grad student, and published writer who finds humor in the challenges she faces in her day-to-day life.

“Crowd favorite”, “hilarious and likable” & “a natural” are some of the ways to describe Sherlonda’s engaging comedic style. Sherlonda’s quick wit, likability, and rapport with audiences have made her popular at comedy clubs, corporate parties, and colleges across the country. Sherlonda’s versatile style ranges from serving as the Mistress of Ceremonies (MC) for events to headlining at comedy venues large and small. Her claim to fame- if a venue is named after an animal (Elks, Moose, Lion, Eagle) - she has likely performed there. Named one of Carolina’s Funniest Comics, Sherlonda’s talent landed her a coveted spot in the prestigious Boston Comedy Festival. Sherlonda’s goal is to always leave the audience wanting more.

Connor Hangsleben is a nationally touring comedian currently based out of his home state of Minnesota. He tours the country with his insightful small town kid act, that has gotten featured on Jeff and Larry's Comedy Roundup on Sirius XM. After starting comedy in MInnesota, he quickly made the jump to Los Angeles where he became a regular performer at the Hollywood Improv. In 2019 he won the UareFunny comedy competition judged by GIna Wendklos, writer of The Princess Diaries and Coyote Ugly. He has opened for some of the biggest names in Comedy such as Darrell Hammond(SNL), Chris Kattan(SNL), and Tim Dillon(The Joe Rogan Experience).

From Minneapolis, Minnesota, comic and writer Brandi Brown is currently the co-host of the podcast "Bill Corbett's Funhouse." Brandi regularly hosts at Minneapolis' Acme Comedy Company. She has toured with Jim Norton and opened for comics including: Maria Bamford, Joe Mande, Vanessa Bayer, Hannibal Buress and Michael Che. Brandi was a moderator on James Adomian and Anthony Atamanuik's "Trump vs Bernie" tour. She's appeared on American Public Media/Minnesota Public Radio shows including: Open Mike Eagle's "Secret Skin" and Brains On! children's show "Smash Boom Best," where she was a writer and panelist. Unrelated to comedy, Brandi placed sixth out of 22 people in the 2018 Minnesota State Fair's novice Crop Art Contest. Her picture of a panda wearing opera glasses was made entirely out of seeds and netted her a $3 prize. She tweets (too much) at @itsthebrandi.

Tommy Ryman, a semifinalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, is an acclaimed comedian. His oddly-adorable stand-up landed him No. 1 on iTunes comedy charts for his album Party Troll. Named Best of the Midwest at Gilda’s Laugh Fest, Tommy grew up in Minnesota jamming on clarinet for his new-age mom and kale-chip-making dad. He performs at top clubs, colleges, and festivals across the nation including the Great American Comedy Festival. Tommy was invited to be on Nickelodeon’s NickMom Night Out and has two full comedy specials on Dry Bar Comedy. He can be regularly heard on SirusXM and iheartradio, Tommy’s act can be described as absurdist and clever masked behind an endearing, innocent demeanor. A Last Comic Standing judge raved, "I have never seen anything like [Tommy] before in my whole life, [he is] one-of-a-kind, fantastic!”
